- One suit ties in with the Brand New Day film release.
- PS5 Pro also gets sharper upscaling and a power-saving mode.

## Summary

Insomniac Games has released a surprise update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, adding new content that coincides with the release of a Spider-Man theatrical film. The free patch primarily introduces two new costumes for players to unlock and equip, alongside technical improvements aimed at owners of Sony's upgraded console hardware.

The first outfit, "Fresh Start," draws inspiration from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day film, offering a reimagined take on the classic superhero costume. The second, based on the crossover fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, brings a futuristic sci-fi look with white accents, a larger chest emblem and the game's distinctive cel-shaded art style. Beyond the cosmetic additions, the update also boosts performance on PlayStation 5 Pro through improved visual upscaling and adds a new power-saving mode.
