An NBC News crew and a Palestinian family were attacked on Saturday by a group of masked Israeli settlers in the West Bank, in an incident condemned by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The assault occurred while three NBC crew members were interviewing Palestinian resident Aida Ahmed Abdullah and her family, highlighting continuing settler violence in the occupied territory and drawing international attention due to the targeting of journalists alongside civilians.

According to NBC News, a grey car with Israeli plates pulled up before masked men wielding sticks emerged and attacked the group, smashing the crew's car windscreen and beating Abdullah unconscious. Correspondent Matt Bradley was struck twice on the arm, while Abdullah and two other NBC staffers were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries. Producer Lawahez Jabari said one attacker was seen carrying a gun, though it was not used. Netanyahu described the perpetrators as a "handful of rioters" harming Israel's international standing, while officials linked the incident to broader unrest in nearby Qusra, where settlers have reportedly been encircling homes since 9 August in an alleged attempt to seize Palestinian land.
