## Summary

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule said a fan verbally abused his 13-year-old daughter after the team’s latest defeat, telling her to insult both her and her father. Rhule said criticism of his coaching is part of the job, but involving his children crosses a line and could affect their wellbeing.

Nebraska had led Washington before conceding 14 points in 45 seconds during a fourth-quarter collapse. Rhule said he is not quitting and remains committed to the programme, while urging fans to recognise the work of players and staff. The article also notes that some schools provide extra security for coaches’ families when tensions rise.
