Maura Higgins & Rob Rausch To Host U.S. Version Of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ For Peacock

Deadline · 9 hours ago

Peacock has ordered a US remake of the long-running British reality format I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, to be hosted by Traitors stars Maura Higgins and Rob Rausch. It marks NBCUniversal's latest attempt to establish the franchise in America after previous ABC and NBC versions in 2003 and 2009 failed to take hold, and comes from Love Island USA producer ITV America, whose boss had long pushed for the show to be picked up.

The new series, working-titled Get Me Out Of Here, is set to launch next year, though a filming location has not been confirmed. It will introduce a twist in which celebrities are paired with a civilian friend or family member to face jungle challenges together, competing for a $100,000 prize. Higgins and Rausch, who appeared together on The Traitors season four, are executive produced alongside ITV America's David George, David Eilenberg and Jordana Hochman.
