## Summary

Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby praised quarterback Kirk Cousins after Las Vegas beat the New York Jets 38-33, saying Cousins was “balling” and had played a major part in the team’s early success. The win lifted the Raiders to 4-4 and left them in control of their playoff hopes.

Cousins scored four touchdowns, throwing three to Brock Bowers and Jalen Nailor and running in another. Crosby also singled out Ashton Jeanty, Mike Washington and Michael Mayer, while noting the defence improved after a poor first half. Cousins had faced speculation that he might be replaced by rookie Fernando Mendoza; he now ranks second in the NFL with 19 passing touchdowns, behind Joe Burrow.
