## Summary

McDonald’s has confirmed that its Pokémon Happy Meal promotion will return with physical toys for the first time in nearly a decade. The toys, alongside collectible cards, mark a notable change to the promotion, which has previously attracted intense demand.

Each meal comes in a yellow box shaped like Pikachu’s head and includes two random reprinted cards featuring Pokémon such as Jirachi, Snorlax, Eevee and Pikachu. Miniature Happy Meal boxes shaped like Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur will also be available as toys. Sales begin in November 2026 in the United States, Australia, Canada, Fiji, France, New Zealand and Spain; many other regions follow in December, while Ireland and the U.K. are scheduled for February 2027. McDonald’s says customers can buy the toy separately from the meal.
