Meet Fernando Lindez, the ‘Elite’ Star Turned Hollywood Romantic Lead in ‘The Last Sunrise’
Fernando Lindez makes his English-language debut as the romantic lead in Prime Video’s The Last Sunrise, a Mallorca-set film released this Wednesday and adapted from Anna Todd’s 2025 bestseller. The Spanish model-turned-actor plays Julián, who begins a summer relationship with Ry, a young woman living with chronic illnesses, making the role an important step in his ambition to work in Hollywood.
Now 26, Lindez began acting at 16 and previously appeared in 30 episodes of Skam España, Netflix’s Elite and the thriller Escándalo, relato de una obsesión, alongside an international modelling career that began at 17. He said the production was unlike anything he had previously experienced, while performing in English required vocal coaching and support from director and co-star Maia Reficco because of his strong Spanish accent. Lindez described Julián as a more vulnerable, family-oriented character than the darker roles he has played before.
