- This was the initiative’s fifth reported group.
- Further details and overall totals were not provided.

## Summary

Melania Trump’s office said an initiative she supports has reunited five more Ukrainian and Russian children with their families, representing the fifth reported group of reunifications. The announcement frames the effort as a humanitarian measure amid the continuing tensions surrounding Russia’s war in Ukraine, with the stated aim of putting children’s welfare ahead of political disputes.

Trump said diplomacy and peace-building were important but should not outweigh the need to prioritise children and families. No identities, locations, circumstances of separation, or cumulative number of children reunited through the programme were disclosed.
