## Key points

- The series arrives on Prime Video on 20 November.
- Its two episodes cover the First Lady transition and inauguration.
- The film earned $16.6 million against $75 million in rights and marketing costs.

## Summary

Amazon Prime Video has set 20 November as the release date for its two-part Melania Trump docuseries. The date is the latest development in Amazon’s screen project about Trump, following the theatrical and streaming releases of the film “Melania”.

The episodes, “Family & Trust” and “Pride & Honor”, follow Trump as she prepares to become First Lady and in the period just after the inauguration; Amazon says they include material not previously shared publicly. The film earned $16.6 million worldwide, but Amazon’s $40 million rights payment and $35 million marketing spend meant its box-office takings did not recoup those costs.
