Meta is announcing significant updates to Muse, its AI agent that launched earlier this month, making it more capable and accessible through multiple communication methods. The company is capitalising on Muse's early success by rapidly rolling out new features that expand how users can interact with their AI assistant.

Muse agents will now have their own email addresses for task completion and direct communication. Users will soon be able to have live video conversations with their customisable Muse avatar, complete with adjustable voice and movement via a new Realtime Avatar model. The Mac app is gaining computer control capabilities, and Meta plans to launch Muse on smart glasses within the coming months. Since its launch earlier this month, Muse has topped the App Store charts and reportedly been downloaded more than ChatGPT on mobile within its first twelve days.
