Billboard · 3 hours ago

Mexican rock trio The Warning, comprising sisters Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal, will headline the halftime show at the NFL's Mexico City game between the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers on 22 November 2026. The performance forms part of the NFL's push to expand its global footprint, with halftime shows scheduled at seven of the nine international games it is staging this season.

The game kicks off at 7:20pm local time at Estadio Banorte, with the halftime slot presented by American Express. The announcement follows a strong run for the band, who recently became the first Mexican act and the first all-female group to top Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their single "Kerosene", taken from their new album Everything's Falling, released on 28 August. Other international halftime acts confirmed include Ayra Starr in London, Ricky Martin in Rio de Janeiro and the Jonas Brothers in Melbourne. The Mexico City show will be broadcast on TelevisaUnivision's Canal 5 and ESPN.
