Michael Jackson Holds Top Gabb Music Songs No. 1, Ahead of Zara Larsson
Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" has held the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Gabb Music Songs chart for a second consecutive month, topping the July 2026 list ahead of rising challengers from Zara Larsson and Ella Langley. The chart, produced in partnership with kids' phone company Gabb Wireless, tracks streams on the Gabb Music platform, which curates only child- and teen-appropriate content; the ranking is separate from Billboard's other charts. Jackson's continued dominance reflects the wider resurgence of his catalogue following the release of the biopic "Michael," which has pushed several of his songs back onto Billboard's charts.
Five Jackson songs feature on the 25-position July chart, with "Billie Jean" followed by "Beat It" at No. 4, down two places as Larsson's "Lush Life" (up to No. 2, a new peak) and Langley's "Choosin' Texas" (returning to No. 3) climb into the top three. Olivia Rodrigo's "The Cure" rose to a new peak of No. 7, while Malcolm Todd's "Earrings" logged the month's top debut at No. 9. Other new entries include Shakira and Burna Boy's World Cup anthem "Dai Dai" at No. 11 and "Mad," from Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, at No. 12.
