## Key points

- Mortensen says her family has moved nine times to protect their safety and privacy.
- She is seeking to keep images that could identify her from being released.
- Her lawyer wants a private review of the records before disclosure.

## Summary

Dylan Mortensen, a survivor of the 2022 University of Idaho killings, is asking a judge to pause an order releasing records that could reveal her face. She says being identified has intensified harassment and made it harder for her and her family to feel safe.

In an affidavit, Mortensen said her family has moved nine times since November 2022, while reporters and people investigating the case have appeared at their homes and followed relatives. She says she uses an alias in everyday situations and has faced threats and speculation about her actions. Her lawyer argues that unblurred images would invade her privacy and asks the judge to review the withheld material privately before deciding whether to release it.
