Michael Strahan and Constance Schwartz-Morini’s SMAC Productions to Launch Podcast Network, Featuring a Show They’re Co-Hosting

Variety · 2 hours ago

SMAC Productions, the entertainment studio founded by "Good Morning America" co-anchor and former NFL star Michael Strahan and his long-time business partner Constance Schwartz-Morini, is launching a podcast network called The Intersection. The network, being set up in partnership with Sinclair's AMP Media digital arm, marks SMAC's move into the podcast business and will see Strahan and Schwartz-Morini step behind the microphone themselves. It signals a further expansion of SMAC's content operations, which already span scripted and unscripted TV, film and digital media.

The network is due to launch later in 2026 with two flagship shows. One, hosted by Strahan and Schwartz-Morini, will feature candid interviews with celebrities, executives and behind-the-scenes figures about leadership, entrepreneurship and reinvention; the other pairs Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens with comedian-writer Chris Spencer to discuss sport, pop culture and trending news. SMAC will produce all programming in-house, while AMP Media handles distribution, audience development and ad sales. The tie-up also supports existing SMAC-affiliated podcasts and adds to AMP's roster of sports-focused shows.
