The independent film "Gable", based on the life of Olympic gold medallist wrestler Dan Gable, has added Mireille Enos, Ella Bright and Jake Picking to its cast. Enos and Picking are stepping in for previously cast actors Leslie Bibb and KJ Apa, who left due to other commitments, while Bright joins in a newly announced role. The casting news matters as part of the wider build-out of a biopic already anchored by rising star Finn Cole in the title role, alongside Ben Foster.

Enos will play Gable's mother, Katie, while Bright takes on the role of his sister, Diane; Picking's part has not yet been disclosed. The film follows Gable's journey from a working-class upbringing in Waterloo, Iowa, through a family tragedy, to a 181-1 competitive record and a landmark showdown with Soviet wrestlers during the Cold War. It is directed by Jon Greenhalgh from a script co-written with Michael Wallach, produced by Shaun Redick and Yvette Yates Redick's Impossible Dream Entertainment, with Enos known for "The Killing" and Bright currently starring in Prime Video's hit series "Off Campus".
