Blaize Productions, which runs the pageant, said the decision reflected "the totality of the circumstances" surrounding past objectionable posts attributed to Boltinhouse, rather than any religious or political discrimination, directly contradicting the narrative she has put forward publicly.

The dispute centres on old social media posts reportedly containing a racial slur, which organisers cited as grounds for revoking her title. Boltinhouse has instead framed her removal as being connected to her faith, a claim the pageant's producers say misrepresents the actual reasoning behind their decision.
