Paramount+ has confirmed that the second season of its crime drama MobLand will premiere on 18 September, with Tom Hardy returning as the criminal family's fixer, Harry Da Souza. The announcement, made on Thursday, gives fans a firm release date for the follow-up to the popular Guy Ritchie-produced series, though it also underlines lingering uncertainty about the show's longer-term future.

Season two follows the Harrigan crime family as they struggle to maintain unity while rising rivals threaten their fractured empire, forcing Da Souza to navigate escalating internal tensions and violence. However, Hardy's involvement beyond this season remains unresolved: his reported on-set clashes with producers, including executive producer Jez Butterworth and David Glasser's 101 Studios, are said to have unsettled the team. The series has yet to be renewed for a third season, with production expected to resume later this year if it goes ahead. Alongside Hardy, the cast includes Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan as rival mob heads, plus Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt and others.
