Southern rock veterans Molly Hatchet have announced *Lost Horizons*, their first album in 16 years, due for release on 27 November through Steamhammer. The band has also released its lead single, “Dixie Highway”, a guitar-driven Southern rock track accompanied by an AI-made video, signalling their return ahead of a US tour beginning on 5 September.

The album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios’ Studio 2 in London, using microphones associated with the Beatles’ recordings, according to guitarist and songwriter Bobby Ingram. Ingram said new members Garrett Ramsden on drums and vocalist Parker Lee brought fresh energy to the group; *Lost Horizons* contains 12 tracks, including “Whiskey Desperado”, “Jacksonvillain” and “Helter Skelter”.
