## Summary

Hai Nguyen, 40, was jailed after a high-speed police pursuit ended when his Audi hit a roundabout and overturned. The incident highlights the dangers of fleeing police at speed and ended with convictions for four offences.

Police said they tried to stop Nguyen on the M6 because the car was uninsured, but he drove on to the M56 and reached 100mph, including along the hard shoulder. He admitted dangerous driving, driving without insurance, failing to stop and possessing criminal property; the court heard he had £1,010 in cash. Chester Crown Court sentenced him to 12 months in prison and banned him from driving for two years and three months; he could face deportation after release.
