Seven men involved in a county-lines gang supplying heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine across the West Midlands have been jailed. The gang, known as the “P Line”, was worth more than £1 million and operated across Smethwick, Wednesbury, Walsall and Birmingham, with the arrests ending a major drug operation.

Police said the group worked in shifts for up to 22 hours a day, seven days a week, handling thousands of calls and messages and supplying dozens of kilos of Class A drugs. Sentences ranged from five to 12 years and seven months, while Asa McIntosh received nine years and nine months after being filmed screaming when officers woke him during his arrest.
