A masked robber entered Crest Mini Market in Bestwood, Nottinghamshire, and threatened a shop worker with a machete. The worker fought back with a hockey stick, and the attacker fled with a bottle of vodka; the worker was not physically injured but was left shaken. Police are seeking to identify the suspect.

The incident happened at about 9.10am on 4 July, and CCTV captured the confrontation. Investigators say a distinctive tattoo on the suspect’s left arm may help identify him. Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information provided directly to the charity that leads to his arrest and conviction.
