## Key points

- A raver told police he narrowly escaped a knife attack.
- Williams is accused of 14 assaults, including attacks on a train.
- He denies 14 attempted murder charges.

## Summary

A court has heard that Dawid Taborski told police he had nearly been stabbed by Anthony Williams while walking to a rave. Williams is accused of a series of attacks during Halloween weekend last year, including a stabbing spree on a train; the testimony and bodycam footage form part of his trial.

Taborski said Williams questioned whether he was “involved”, drew a roughly ten-inch knife and lunged at him, prompting him to run. Prosecutors say a 14-year-old boy was the first of 14 people assaulted, with ten attacks on a train. Williams admits 12 charges of wounding with intent and two of attempted wounding with intent, but denies 14 attempted murder charges.
