Colombian pop-rock band Morat will donate part of the ticket income from its Bogotá concert residency to areas affected by Monday’s magnitude-7.4 earthquake. The initiative is intended to help rebuild schools, while also using the band’s sold-out shows to encourage further public donations.

Funds will be channelled through UNICEF to support schools in Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Antioquia and the Eje Cafetero. Morat will also install four donation points at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena during its six concerts, running from 14 to 23 August, which launch its Ya Es Mañana World Tour.
