- Ukraine, Russia and the US are due to meet Tuesday.

## Summary

Russian missile strikes hit Kyiv early on Saturday, injuring at least five people and damaging homes, businesses and energy facilities, as Ukraine prepared for peace talks with Russia and the United States. The attack caused power and water outages and disrupted heating, adding pressure as negotiators seek a way past the impasse in efforts to end the war.

Representatives from the three countries are due to meet on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, in the fourth round of talks brokered by the Trump administration; the previous round was held in Geneva in February. Territorial and security issues remain unresolved. Separately, a recovery operation continued in Komyshuvakha after a Russian attack on an aid distribution centre killed 55 people, with dozens still missing.
