Mount Kimbie, the British electronic duo of Kai Campos and Dominic Maker, have released their compilation as part of the fabric presents mix series, marking their contribution to the long-running London club night's showcase strand. The release follows an in-store performance at Phonica Records and includes two exclusive tracks, positioning the compilation as a focused snapshot of the club-facing side of the duo's sound rather than a conceptual mixtape.

The compilation features exclusive tracks 'Monroe', which nods to the group's 2017 track 'Marilyn' featuring Mica Levi, and 'Jomox', a techno-infused speed garage cut already road-tested in Kai Campos's DJ sets. Campos said the mix draws on two years of club-focused material he wanted to "celebrate" before retiring the tracks, leaving the duo's more experimental side to previous mixes. To mark the release, Mount Kimbie will host a club night at fabric on 12th September alongside Yu Su, DJ Python, Galcher Lustwerk, Tijana T, Leo Gosh and Mor Elian.
