MS Now has announced a new weekend programme, The Assignment With Antonia Hylton, set to launch on Saturday, 12 September. The show will be broadcast live from New York and continues the US news network's efforts to expand its weekend and daytime line-up under parent company Versant Media, which split from NBC Universal/Comcast in 2025.

Hosted by journalist Antonia Hylton, the programme will air on Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm, covering political and cultural headlines alongside discussions with lawmakers and other prominent figures, with Joy Fowlin serving as executive producer. Hylton, who joined MS Now in April 2025 as co-anchor of The Weekend: Primetime, has since reported on the network's Cities Under Siege series and won several honours, including a Peabody Award and a Scripps Howard Award. The launch follows a wider raft of new MS Now titles introduced in June, including shows fronted by Stephanie Ruhle, Katy Tur and Ali Velshi, as part of Versant's broader push into digital, audio and live-event content.
