My Chemical Romance opened a sold-out, three-night residency at London's Wembley Stadium with an elaborate, theatrical performance of their 2006 album The Black Parade, blending live music with political satire and full stage production. Fronted by Gerard Way, the show transformed the venue into a fictional authoritarian state and underscored the band's journey from emo cult favourites two decades ago to headlining one of the world's biggest stadiums.

The opening night drew a crowd of 75,000, many dressed in military jackets and black eyeliner, and lasted around two hours despite a London heatwave. Highlights included opera singers, heavy pyrotechnics, propaganda-style visuals, and an audience participation segment in which fans used "Yea" and "Nay" placards to decide the fate of four "losers" in a mock execution. The band performed a full run-through of the album, delivered a cover of Morrissey's "Jack the Ripper" for the first time since 2003, and closed with the fan favourite "Famous Last Words".
