## Summary

The 20th anniversary reissue of My Chemical Romance’s *The Black Parade* has climbed from No. 139 to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving the band its first chart-topping album. Its 20-year wait to reach the summit is the longest for any album, and the jump is the biggest to No. 1 since Taylor Swift’s *Fearless (Taylor’s Version)* rose from No. 157 in 2021.

In the week ending 29 October, the album earned 78,000 equivalent units in the US, up 653%, including 68,000 sales and 10,000 streaming units. Vinyl made up 42,000 sales, a record week for the band, as the reissue was offered in more than 20 physical editions. The original 2006 release peaked at No. 2; the band has been touring the album since July 2025, with the tour scheduled to end in Indonesia on 22 November.
