The 'Mystery Science Theater 3000' revival under the RiffTrax banner has announced a staggered release schedule for four new episodes spanning autumn 2026. Episodes premiere online beginning in October and November, with a theatrical run of the first episode in September on RiffTrax.com and the RiffTrax Best Friends streaming platform. The rollout is timed before the community's traditional Turkey Day marathon celebration.

The project reunites the original series' comedy hosts Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett, who will return both on screen and in production roles, along with cast member Mary Jo Pehl. Produced collaboratively by RiffTrax and Shout! Studios, the episodes were filmed earlier in 2026 in Minneapolis, where the original series originated. The revival extends RiffTrax's two-decade operation since 2006, during which the team has created comedy commentary for over one thousand films and television programmes.
