German heavy metal band Mystic Prophecy have announced their new studio album "In Metal", due for release on 27 November 2026 through the Perception label, part of Reigning Phoenix Music. The announcement coincides with the release of the album's first single, "Robots", along with an accompanying music video, and marks a new chapter for the long-running band as they follow up their acclaimed records "Metal Division" and "Hellriot".

"Robots" explores themes of technology's growing influence over humanity, as described by frontman R.D. Liapakis and guitarist Dan Baune. The revamped line-up now features Tommy Gun on bass, guitarist Dan Baune (also of Monument) and drummer Christophe de Combe (Fireforce), alongside Liapakis and guitarist Markus Pohl. The ten-track album was produced by Baune and Liapakis, with mixing and mastering by Henrik Udd, and the band will support the release with a late 2026 tour featuring special guests Iron Savior and Generation Steel.
