Man in balaclava exposed himself to two women in Sunnybank Hills

Daily Mail · 2 months ago

A naked man wearing only a black balaclava is reported to have jumped out of bushes in Sunnybank Hills, about 15km south of Brisbane's CBD, and "aggressively" masturbated in front of two 20-year-old women in the early hours of Saturday. The incident matters because it left the two women traumatised, was said to have lasted around ten minutes until police arrived, and locals claim the same offender carried out a near-identical act nearby months earlier, suggesting a repeat public threat.

The women had visited a 7-Eleven on Pinelands Road before sitting on the kerb near closed businesses, including Vivace Music and Royal Bali Spa, at about 1am. One recounted hearing rustling in the bushes that she initially dismissed as possums, before a Caucasian man described as in his 40s or 50s leapt out wearing nothing but the balaclava and muttered obscenities while performing the act. The episode was captured on a mobile phone, and police attended the scene.
