Nate Bargatze has set a Guinness World Record for the most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour, overtaking comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. The achievement underlines Bargatze’s rapid rise as a major live entertainment draw, driven by his clean, deadpan style and broad appeal across age groups.

His “Big Dumb Eyes” tour had sold about 2,016,254 tickets before its Toronto date, exceeding Dunham’s previous total of 1,981,720. Bargatze reached two million tickets in 16 months and 10 days across 128 venues, compared with Dunham’s 35 months and eight days across 386 venues; the final certified figure is due later this weekend. The tour also reportedly broke 84 venue records, while Bargatze earned $77.5 million from stand-up performances in 2025.
