NBC’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ Partner Ancestry.com Drops DNA Kit Prices for Labor Day
Ancestry.com has launched Labour Day discounts of up to 78% on its AncestryDNA kits, aiming to attract people interested in tracing their family origins. The offer makes consumer DNA testing and related genealogy services cheaper for a limited period, while highlighting the company’s large database of DNA customers and historical records.
The sale runs from 26 August to 8 September at 10am ET. The basic kit provides genetic-origin estimates across more than 3,600 places and DNA-relative matches, while bundles add subscriptions for international records, family-history tools, traits, military archives, newspapers and photo collections. Ancestry says it has more than 25 million DNA customers; memberships are separate from the one-off test purchase and may renew automatically unless cancelled.
