## Key points

- *NCIS: Sydney* will miss the whole of 2026.
- CBS renewed the series for a fourth season.
- Filming began in April, with a 2027 return expected.

## Summary

CBS has confirmed that *NCIS: Sydney* will not return to screens in 2026, despite the series being renewed for a fourth season. The delay means the international spin-off is sitting out the network’s current autumn schedule, although CBS still plans to bring it back.

The article says the show was held for midseason, with its return now expected in 2027; filming began in April. CBS’s NCIS line-up averaged 5.49 million viewers on premiere week, while *NCIS: New York* drew 53% more viewers than *NCIS: Origins* did for its second-season premiere.
