## Key points

- More than 2.7 million young adults have considered uploading content to adult sites.
- The report connects pornography use with relationship concerns.
- It calls for expanded addiction support and VPN restrictions for under-18s.

## Summary

A Centre for Social Justice report says 18% of Britons aged 18 to 34 had considered uploading content to OnlyFans or a similar adult site in the past year, equivalent to more than 2.7 million people. The think tank links pornography use to difficulties forming relationships and calls for more support for people with compulsive sexual behaviour.

The report says 47% of couples have never discussed whether either partner uses pornography, while 16% did so in the past year. It estimates nearly one in 20 people in the UK are at high risk of compulsive sexual behaviour disorder, and says 27% of men watch pornography several times a week or more, compared with 5% of women. It also proposes restricting under-18s’ use of VPNs that can bypass parental controls.
