The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has released the first trailer for No One's Disciple, a documentary chronicling the life of the late Rush drummer Neil Peart. The film brings together his former bandmates Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson alongside fellow drummers Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stewart Copeland of the Police, who share their reflections on Peart's legacy. It matters as a long-awaited tribute to a musician widely regarded as one of rock's finest drummers, with Lee noting the band never had a proper chance to honour him after his death.

The documentary, co-directed by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn, also incorporates archival footage of Peart himself discussing his early fascination with drumming as a child. It is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 16 September, though no wider release date has yet been confirmed. Meanwhile, Lee and Lifeson continue their extensive Fifty Something World Tour, with Anika Nilles now serving as their touring drummer in Peart's absence.
