Netflix has landed "The Headlands House," a thriller limited series starring Emmy winner Colman Domingo, following a competitive bidding process for the project. The series comes from AMC Studios and marks an expansion into third-party production for the company, which previously developed Apple TV's "Silo" before Apple Studios took over the show after its first season.

The drama, written and executive produced by Cameron B. Dupont ("Yellowjackets"), follows a gay couple whose marriage begins to fracture after they move into their dream home, only to learn its previous occupants were murdered there and that their own lives may be at risk. Domingo and Raúl Domingo executive produce via their Edith Productions banner, alongside Patrick Moran through PKM Productions. This will be Domingo's third Netflix series, following "The Madness" and "The Four Seasons," and builds on his existing relationship with AMC Global Media, where he stars in "Fear the Walking Dead."
