Netflix has commissioned a second season of Indian reality series *Lock Upp: Sach Yaa Sazaa* after its first season became a breakout hit on the platform. The show brings Indian celebrities together in a jail setting to compete in challenges, while discussing their public image and confronting stories associated with them.

Season 1 reached number one on Netflix’s TV shows list within two days and stayed in the top ten for seven weeks; it recorded 50 million hours viewed in a month. Weekly episodes increased from five to six in response to demand. Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan will return as hosts, with Balaji Telefilms producing; the series first launched on ALTBalaji and MX Player in 2022 before being rebooted for Netflix.
