Netflix’s *The Lincoln Lawyer* has been renewed for a fifth and final season, expected to premiere before the end of 2026, rather than 2027 as the headline suggests. The decision has disappointed some fans, who believe the legal drama’s strong viewership and source material could support several more seasons.

The series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Los Angeles defence attorney Mickey Haller and is based on Michael Connelly’s novels, which also inspired *Bosch*. Netflix is developing a spin-off centred on Cobie Smulders’ character, as well as a television remake of *And Justice for All*, while the show’s first four seasons remain available to stream.
