## Summary

Netflix’s *Ransom Canyon* is a two-season Western drama centred on the residents of a small Texas town, where ranching disputes, romances and personal secrets collide. The pipeline proposal raises the stakes because it could reshape the town and threaten family land, while the show’s intertwined storylines make it an easy-going binge for fans of small-town drama.

Ranch owner Staten Kirkland is grieving the deaths of his wife and teenage son while resisting pressure from Davis Collins to sell land for a pipeline. Davis is also pursuing Quinn O’Grady, who has renewed feelings for Staten, while newcomer Yancy Grey’s hidden motives complicate his growing relationship with Ellie Estevez. Meanwhile, Reid Collins is struggling after his cousin’s death, and Davis faces the possible loss of his family ranch if the pipeline deal fails.
