## Summary

Netflix's South Korean series "Teach You a Lesson" has become one of the platform's most-watched shows of 2026, racking up 514 million hours viewed. The series stands out within the action genre by tackling a serious real-world issue, using its story to pose the question of how far people should go to stop school bullying, drawing comparisons to other socially conscious genre hits like Orphan Black and Person of Interest.

The plot centres on Daehan High School, where unchecked bullying leads a student to take his own life after being tormented by a gang led by Ryu Jun-hyeong (played by Lee Seung-gyu). The narrative then follows Kim Gyeong-min (Lee Chan-yong), a former bullying victim who becomes the group's new target, facing the same tragic trajectory as the student who died before him.
