## Summary

Netflix is set to remove *The End of the F***ing World* from its streaming service on 5 November, giving viewers a short window to watch or revisit the acclaimed dark comedy. The series stands out for blending adolescent romance and coming-of-age themes with dark humour and a tale of two troubled teenagers.

The eight-part 2017 miniseries, based on Charles Forsman’s comics, follows James, who believes he is a psychopath, and Alyssa, who sees him as an escape from her difficult home life. Their planned road trip shifts their relationship from a pretend romance and violent fantasies towards a genuine bond, as both characters’ bravado gives way to vulnerability. The article also notes the show’s positive reception and places it among notable satirical comic adaptations.
