## Summary

Blood Sacrifice, a Swedish crime thriller, follows Stockholm detectives investigating a series of murders targeting police officers. The article praises its slow-burn mystery, atmospheric Nordic noir style and strained father-son relationship, calling it an overlooked Netflix series for viewers seeking something beyond mainstream crime dramas.

The story begins with a call from a woman reporting a knife attack at a holiday house on Värmdö, where two officers are later found dead; in the following days, more than three police officers are murdered. Investigator Thomas Berg turns to his estranged father Alfred, a disgraced former officer, for help. Set around Stockholm and its islands during the bright twilight of a northern summer, the five-episode series is in Swedish and requires subtitles for non-Swedish speakers.
