## Key points

- Leaked GTA 6 gameplay and full Leonida map footage surfaced online.
- Rockstar issued DMCA takedowns to remove the leaked material.
- Leaks continue despite Rockstar's efforts to control official reveals.

## Summary

Fresh leaked footage and images purportedly from Grand Theft Auto 6 have circulated online, reportedly showing gameplay footage alongside a view of the game's full in-game map of Leonida, the fictional Florida-inspired setting. Rockstar Games has responded by issuing DMCA takedown notices to have the leaked material removed from social media and file-sharing sites, continuing its long-standing practice of aggressively policing unauthorised leaks of its unreleased titles.

The leaks add to a string of unofficial material that has surfaced ahead of GTA 6's release, giving fans an unsanctioned early look at the game's world and mechanics despite Rockstar's efforts to control its own marketing and reveals. As with previous incidents, the takedowns are unlikely to fully stop the footage spreading, though they slow its availability on major platforms while Rockstar manages its official rollout of information.
