New ‘Halo’ Project Launching This Month Officially Hits Final Milestone

Halo: Campaign Evolved has gone gold, meaning development is complete and the game is ready to be manufactured and released. The milestone is significant because it marks the imminent arrival of one of July’s major games and, notably, the first Halo title not restricted to Xbox platforms.

The game is scheduled to launch on 28 July 2026, while buyers of the Collector’s Edition or Digital Premium edition will receive early access from 23 July. Reviews are expected to appear on the same day as early access begins, and the game will also be released for PlayStation 5, ending Halo’s long-standing Xbox exclusivity.
