## Summary

Sony has released PS5 system software version 26.04-13.60.00, a minor update intended to make messages and some on-screen interfaces easier to read and use. It matters chiefly as a small quality-of-life improvement rather than a major new feature release.

Sony’s patch notes simply state that messages and usability have been improved on certain screens, without giving further specifics. The update follows more substantial recent additions, including enhanced PSSR image processing for PS5 Pro owners, Friends Activity improvements, console serial-number access and a power-saving mode.
