Marvel has announced a four-issue comic spin-off of *Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man*, designed to bridge the animated series’ first and second seasons. The story will continue Peter Parker’s adventures after the Season 1 finale and expand the show’s official continuity ahead of Season 2’s expected return to Disney+ in early 2027.

Written by Christos Gage and illustrated by Eric Gapstur, the series will follow Peter as he becomes increasingly distant from his friends, while Norman Osborn appears to have abandoned his involvement in Spider-Man’s activities. Strange developments at Oscorp will draw Peter, Harry Osborn and their allies into a new mystery, with Daredevil and several unidentified classic villains also expected to appear. The first issue will be released on 9 December, and the limited series will run for four issues.
