## Summary

Jared Verse said he confronted Cleveland Browns teammates after they failed to react when a Pittsburgh Steelers player body-slammed him during Sunday’s game. The defensive end said their silence upset him, highlighting tension over how the team supports one another during a heated divisional rivalry.

The incident occurred on an extra-point attempt in the first quarter, when Steelers guard Mason McCormick upended Verse; officials called unnecessary roughness and imposed a 15-yard penalty. Verse also said he should have warned teammates about his plan to provoke Pittsburgh before the game. The Steelers won 27-6, taking sole possession of first place in the AFC North, while Cleveland fell to 5-3 and went without a touchdown for the first time this season.
