## Key points

- The NFL will review three women’s additional allegations against Jacobs.
- The claims concern alleged incidents in 2021 and 2022.
- Jacobs’ lawyers cite a plea agreement covering two misdemeanour charges.

## Summary

The NFL says it will review additional abuse allegations against Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs as part of its ongoing investigation. The allegations appear in police records and concern incidents reported by three women dating from 2021 and 2022; they are allegations, not findings of wrongdoing.

One woman said Jacobs slapped and threatened her during an alleged 2022 encounter, while another described an alleged 2021 altercation that police records said officers found no visible injuries consistent with a physical fight. A third alleged he grabbed and scratched her during a 2022 incident. Jacobs’ lawyers said prosecutors had investigated older, uncorroborated claims and reached a plea agreement covering two misdemeanour charges; the supplied article text cuts off before giving further details of his May arrest.
