## Summary

Nickelback have announced their fifteenth studio album, *Everything Under the Sun*, which is due for release on 30 October via Virgin Music Group. The record follows 2022’s *Get Rollin’* and is being presented as a broad statement of the band’s identity after 25 years together. That matters because the announcement positions the album as both a continuation of Nickelback’s established sound and an attempt to show a wider range of styles.

The album has 12 tracks, including the newly released lead single *Rattle the Cage*, which features John 5, and another preview track, *Bones for the Crows*. Frontman Chad Kroeger said the record includes some of the band’s heaviest material, songs that take creative risks, and tracks that reflect why the group has stayed together for so long. The published tracklist runs from *Rattle the Cage* to *Last Night Was Fun*, with titles such as *If I Don’t Go*, *Technicolor Steamboat* and *Lift Somebody Up* suggesting a mix of tones and approaches across the album.
